Nursery Teaching Assistant

The roles and responsibilities for this job:

• To always be happy, smiley and enjoy the little things in life such as when the children laugh.
• To show good communication skills with both children and adults.
• To get to know the routines of each room and be a good support for the practitioners throughout the day through tasks such as cleaning, setting up and care routines.
• Building a good relationship with the children and staff – once happy and settled in the role will have the opportunity to become a key person if they wish.
• Support practitioners with the learning opportunities through adult and child led activities.

About us:

• School type: Day nursery
• Job Types: Temporary contract, Part-time
• Contract length: temporary to permanent
• Part-time hours: 15-20 per week.
• Full time: 30-40 hrs per week
• Candidates have opportunities to develop themselves through training

Salary: From £10.42 per hour
