Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our team at our Woolwich, London location. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and well-being of children in our care, ensuring they receive the best possible start in life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.
• Plan and deliver a range of stimulating activities that promote learning and development.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Observe and assess children’s progress, identifying areas for development and planning next steps.
• Ensure all children’s individual needs are met, including dietary requirements and medical conditions.
• Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and development.
• Follow safeguarding procedures to ensure the welfare and safety of all children.
• Contribute to the overall operation and effectiveness of the nursery.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
• Previous experience working in an early years setting is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
