Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Nursery Professional Chef to join our team at our Woolwich, London location. As a Nursery Professional Chef, you will play a vital role in providing nutritious and delicious meals for the children in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and prepare balanced, nutritious meals and snacks for children, taking into account dietary requirements and allergies.
• Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained in the kitchen.
• Collaborate with the nursery team to create menus that meet the needs and preferences of the children.
• Engage children in food-related activities and promote healthy eating habits.
• Manage the kitchen inventory and place orders for food supplies as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in a childcare or nursery setting.
• Relevant culinary qualifications and food safety certifications.
• Knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements for young children.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
