A Warm Welcome to
Bright Start Day Nursery!
We set out on a mission to create a day nursery in which children between 2 months old and 5 years of age would be able to learn and grow in confidence. Bright Start also offers wraparound care for children up to the age of 8, so we can continue to nurture your children during the first few years of their school journey.
Studies have shown that children do better when they are encouraged to learn using play as a method of teaching… and we wanted to expand and explore this concept to help each of our little cherubs reach their full potential.
A Day Nursery Celebrating Curious Minds
We teach young minds that being curious is a wonderful thing. They have so many exciting life adventures to look forward to – and we want to prepare them as best we can. We encourage each child in our care to explore the world in the way they know best, with their imaginations!
It is our aim that each and every child leaves us improved. Whether that be in terms of speech, social awareness, problem solving – or any other area where your child is struggling. We are here to actively encourage learning through good fun… no matter the stage of learning they are at.

Social & Fun
Nursery is a great place to start to learn social skills, and at Bright Start we make this a fun experience for every child. Our children can form these early friendship bonds in our variety of play areas.

Our Nursery Timetable
There are a number of mandatory guidelines we need to follow to ensure we are meeting national requirements. The standards we work with are the Early Years Foundation Stage standards set back in 2012. This framework is a great starting point, but we do add to the schedule.
At any point, parents of our children may request a curriculum. We will keep you informed of the day-to-day lessons as we work
Opening Hours
- Monday to Friday: 7.00am-7.00pm except on Easter and Christmas holidays
- Breakfast club:7.00am-8:30am
- After School club: 3:30pm-7:00pm
